Diversity is Our Strength, Part 2

OK, I've written about this before (here) and in light of what just happened on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in the once magnificent city of Paris, I will repeat a lot of it.

First, of course, condolences to the slain officer and best wishes to the wounded. Second, I hope the shooter rots in hell, and, of course, congratulations to the cop who sent him there. I wrote last February that,
"Diversity is Our Strength" seems something that the pig rulers in Orwell's Animal Farm would have posted with their original seven commandments. This phrase gets repeated regularly with such conviction and energy by the proper thinkers and politicos in North America, Western Europe, and Oceania that one hesitates to ask "Why? Why is it our strength?" <. . . >"Diversity" must now join that legion of words appropriated and deformed almost beyond recognition by our progressive overlords. It joins "gay," "liberal," "male," "female," "fascist," "racist" and many more words that now form the core of modern progressivism's narrative. All perfectly good words that now have become unrecognizable and put into the service of the progressive "vision." < . . . > We see in the ongoing debate over immigration in the West that the proper thinkers want ever more "diversity." < . . . > The progressives seek to destroy our culture, and replace it with . . . what exactly? The progs can't or won't say, but we can certainly get a glimpse of what's to come if they succeed. Has "diversity" of the progressive kind made Europe a stronger and a better place to live? I think that hundreds of victims of Islam in Paris, Nice, Brussels, London, etc., might have an interesting answer to that.
Another round of murder at the hands of the usual suspects. I already have heard the apologists pointing out, as they did after a couple of similar shootings in the USA, that the miscreant who did the killing and terror was "native born," not an immigrant. True, but his Islamist ideology was imported, his orders to kill were imported, in sum, and above all, his personal identification was not with the country and culture of his birth, it was with fellow "radicalized" followers of Islam living in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, North Africa, etc.

And it is culture that's the key. Race and racism bores me. I hate discussions about race, and put great distance between racists and myself. Talk about race tells you little to nothing useful. I note, for example, that several of the soldiers on the streets of Paris are black, they look very professional and presumably are willing to take a bullet for France. We are involved in a massive war over culture that we are losing. Until such time that we reassert our pride in our culture, and hold up its values as superior, we will continue to be plagued by the sort of criminality we saw yet again on the streets of Paris. The Melting Pot was the idea; we need to get back to it. The perverted cultural "diversity" of progressivism is a formula for murder and chaos.

  1. Note that under progressivism, only anglos can be 'racist'. That's not because other people "aren't racist", but because only anglos are "expected to know better than to be racists". Racism is despicable in all of its forms, but it really takes the cake to have an explicitly racist (in the sense of being denigrating to racial minorities) definition of the term 'racism'. I'm not even sure Orwell would have dreamed this one up.

sadly, I think you're correct, and we're getting further behind in this conflict every year.

  2. You are correct of course; but I really do fear that it is too late. All of the great civilisations of history have eventually fallen, and the causes are often the same. We have become flabby and indulgent, and there are too many among us who hate the West, and are teaching our children to so the same. It is a cancer eating out the West from the inside, and the climate of progressive repression and lately violence is crushing anyone who tries to argue back. I held high hopes for Trump, but the establishment seems to have quickly captured him, and now he is slowly and surely being drawn away from the causes that won him the Presidency .

  5. "Diversity" is a word and concept that is used to disrupt the traditional conservative culture and those of us who are or were comfortable in it. The "progressive" is now comfortable, for the moment. Solution? Bring discomfort, doubt and most of all fear to his community. To his institutions and safe spaces. This is a war after all.

It can't all be up to President Trump.

    1. The easiest way to do that is to de-fund their support institutions.

    2. Yep. College gender and race studies are simply taxpayer supported marxist think tanks. That would be a good place to start as they aren't job related and so should be disqualified from both federal money and the people who major in them denied student loans they have little chance of paying off.

  6. Ah, yes, diversity - let's all embrace it unless of course it is diversity of thought....then only one viewpoint is allowed....the left's of course.

  7. We need to go back to individual rights, not group rights. The rule of law, with the same law for everyone, and respect for individual rights. Special treatment depending on group affiliation is what's killing us.

  8. "And it is culture that's the key." I have been saying that for 5 decades. We succeeded as a country because were historically an admittedly imperfect melting pot; the vast majority were Americans first. When the xx-American identity became mainstream, I said were we losing our melting pot culture. We were becoming tribal. Yes, immigrants of similar culture usually huddled in a certain area, but they strove or were pushed to become Americans first. We have lost that inclination to force assimilation and we are worse off for it, IMO.
I have fought the good fight for 10 years after my retirement to try and stop this drift away from Americanism via the TEA Party and my own local efforts. I am seeing anger beyond what I have seen in the past because people see that the peaceful TEA Party effort failed and the Antifa is pushing the limit of many good people's patience. At 72, I am glad I probably won't live to see my country destroyed from with-in by the Leftist Marxist progressives or a resort to violence to stop the progressives. Where the breaking point is, I don't know, but some event could easily set off the cascading actions as what happened to cause the Arab Spring.

  9. This essay at City Journal indicates that it's not the U.S. that is afflicted.

  11. You may not be interested in race, Diplomad, but not everybody feels that way. Look at the exit polls from the last election. Every single nonwhite community votes en block Democrat -- for abortion on demand, for gun control, for queers in the barracks and the Boy Scouts, for the welfare state, for the destruction of every idea and comfortable time-worn institution that is now decreed Old and Evil. Not by a few per cent. Seventy, eighty per cent or more.

It numbed me. I couldn't believe it. I have blithely assumed my entire life that when America browned out that it would be analogous to when the Germans came to outnumber the original Anglo colonists. I was wrong. Horrifyingly deadly wrong, and so are you.
Unless and until we shut down immigration from Third World pestholes -- repeal the 1965 Immigration Act and the 1980 Refugee Act, and endure all the screaming and lawsuits and accusations that will be launched at us -- this election will be red state America's last gasp. You will live just long enough to see your country die.

That's the electoral reality. Deal with it.

    1. I'd humbly suggest Rivenshield to your observation that, "Every single nonwhite community votes en block Democrat ..."

You might (using your preferred search engine) look into the circumstances of the 2014 re-election of Mississippi's RINO establishment "conservative" Senator Thad Cochran.

    2. "CONSERVATIVE"?
      MY Fanny's Fanny!

Btw, last time I checked Mississipp GOP elite was never shy about racebaiting their hooks in order to haul-in a bucketful of their favorite blackfish...

the following Excerpted from my Favorite Search Injun:

On June 3, 2014, in the Republican primary McDaniel received 49.6% and incumbent U.S. Senator Cochran received 49%, forcing a June 24, 2014, run-off election.[3][4] McDaniel lost the run-off taking 49% of the vote to Cochran's 51%[35]

      Aftermath

In the aftermath, McDaniel and his campaign claimed that there were indications of voter fraud, and insisted that >>about 3,300 Democrats voted in the run-off for Cochran<<, and were investigating whether the crossover voting violated any laws in Mississippi.[36] On July 2, 2014, McDaniel wrote in a fundraising pitch that “Last week’s runoff election was a sham, plain and simple,” and charged that Cochran “stole” the nomination.[37]

A day after the election results were certified by the state party, Senator Ted Cruz and tea party groups backed an investigation of what they alleged to be voter fraud in the run-off election.[38] Cruz also told reporters that groups aligned with >>the Cochran campaign ran racially offensive ads designed to persuade black voters to vote against McDaniel.<<[38][39] Regarding the racially charged ads, McDaniel said that the GOP is "a party that does not need to play the race card to win."[40] On July 17, the Mississippi State Supreme Court rejected McDaniel’s request for access to poll books without having voters birth dates blacked out, which his attorneys argued were needed to identify alleged fraudulent votes.[41]

On August 2014, a Mississippi judge dismissed McDaniel’s challenge.[42] On October 24, 2014, the Mississippi Supreme Court affirmed the lower court's dismissal in a 4-2 decision.[43]

  12. I guess people from some cultures get along with people from other certain cultures better than others. When was the last time a Christian Sub-Saharan African immigrant in France shot up a street? Or, some Sino-French person? It seems that Islam is the issue.

  14. It's becoming more and more obvious that multiculturalism is a dysfunction philosophy and needs to be removed from the curriculum of taxpayer supported colleges. Job one for the education department would be to demand that conservative viewpoints are well represented in their faculty.

  15. ...[Fools]"pointing out, as they did after a couple of similar shootings in the USA, that the miscreant who did the killing and terror was "native born," not an immigrant." WLA

And, as you rightly point out, the murderous pieces of dirt by their acts REVEAL that they have no allegiance to the LAWs of their birth or adopted 'country', nor respect for the 'cultural' norms of our society.

Becoming instead, predatory beasts, trained deadly animals, unleashed by our enemies to kill us! WHO is preventing our Western Civilization from becoming proactive in the defense of our sovereign citizens!? How many thousands of human beings must die horrific deaths before we strike down these sick savages?

The answer of course is, when we, at last, wake up, and say NO MORE! NO MORE! to the Leftist jackasses and rinos, and their street thugs who have traded our cultural safety, for the enemies votes! NO MORE! to the Politicians who import these anti-American scum, and showers them with the hard earned wages of our fathers! We can't wait anymore, the next victim may be from our beloved family, friends, or community members!

IT IS Time for a ban on DEATH CULTS disguised as religion, and a 'one strike and your out rule' for those damned and damaged importees already here, and a NO Admittance policy for all others who fail to prove allegiance, and their patience to wait 5 YEARS before being allowed into the USA.

BUILD THE WALL-REINSTALL TRAVEL BAN- SUPPORT YOUR SHERIFF/PD

Yes we can STOP these Beasts from Killing US but it will take a growing majority of Americans, young and old, to get it done... VOTE enmasse and Make America Great Again and AGAIN!

  16. Much of social activism today is an obsessive attempt to erase boundary lines ... between genders, between religions, between political ideologies, between races, between economic castes, and even between countries. This seems the uncomfortable result of trying to reconcile the natural incompatibility between diversity and inclusion.

  17. Yes, let's examine the likely future of Europe that has fully embraced the madness of Islamic immigration in the name of diversity. The election in France points the way. Faced with even the possibility of a win by a nationalist/populist candidate, the Left (and others?) will align with Islamists for even crumbs of power. As Muslim births in Europe continue to overwhelm native European we will see a Eurabia that looks very much like the dysfunction, corruption, tyranny and in short a new Islamic medievalism. The election of Trump may just may have spared us that fate.
